“Soft power & strong responsibilities. Sport as a key to global issues” LaFourmi’s talk – Global Sports Week
Corporate partner of the event, LaFourmi will host a talk: “Soft power & strong responsibilities. Sport as a key to global issues”. Thibaut Cornet was asked to speak on Thursday, February 06, 2020 at 11:20 am.
The agency’s Co-President will look at the current and future challenges facing society (climate, biodiversity, food, human rights, gender equality, old age, education, health, gender equality etc.) from the perspective of sport.
“Due to its economic impact, visibility in the media, growing influence on citizens, as well as its carbon footprint, sport must play a full role in contributing to social and environmental progress. Lots of initiatives are taking shape, fights are being led, but efforts must be accelerated now more than ever and deliver a proper response to the emergency situation facing us”, Thibaut Cornet, Co-President of LaFourmi agency.
Global Sports Week is a cross-sector platform featuring topical workshops, round tables and meetings, and it also includes several talks to allow participants to benefit from the sectoral expertise of the partners of the 1st Global Sports Week.
